Director
Theddi Wright Chappell is a Director in charge of Valuation Consulting, Strategic Planning & Risk Management. Theddi works with MGS clients to optimize returns within various risk profiles and sustainable strategies.
Theddi is also the CEO of Sustainable Values, Inc., a woman-owned business where she co-authored the first seminar on valuing green commercial buildings for the Appraisal Institute and recently finalized a two-day Appraisal Institute course entitled, Case Studies in Valuing Green Commercial Buildings. She was an organizer of and presenter at the international Vancouver Valuation Summits I, II and III in Vancouver, BC and is a Director of the Green Building Finance Consortium. Along with collaborator Chris Corps, MRICS, she completed a group of case studies for the Cascadia Chapter of the US Green Building Council entitled, High Performance Green Building - What's it Worth? for international distribution. Theddi is also a founding member of the team developing the Economics of Change, a multi-year project focused on building an appropriate analytical tool that incorporates economic, environmental and social considerations into investment, valuation and underwriting criteria.
Prior to her role at Sustainable Values, Theddi served as National Practice Leader of the Green Advisory Practice and a Senior Managing Director in the Valuation & Advisory Group of the international real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield. In collaboration with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) and Cushman & Wakefield’s Research Group, Theddi developed the Green Building Opportunity Index, the first office market assessment tool to provide weighted comparisons of top U.S. office markets on the basis of both real estate fundamentals and green development considerations.

Theddi is a national and international speaker and educator on the implications of green strategies on asset value.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the states of Utah and Oregon.
